Privacy policy

Last updated: January 2026

The short version: your pictures are read inside your own browser and are never sent to us. We do not want your files, and we never get them.

Your images

When you use the converter, the reading happens on your device. The picture you pick is not uploaded to any server we run, it is not stored, and it is not shared. Once you close or refresh the page, it is gone. We could not look at your images even if we wanted to, because they never reach us.

The text you get back

The words pulled from your picture show up only on your screen. We do not save them, log them, or send them anywhere. Copying or downloading that text is entirely up to you and happens on your own machine.

Information we do collect

We may use a basic, privacy-friendly way of counting visits so we can see roughly how many people use the site and which pages are popular. This kind of measurement looks at totals, not at you as a person, and it is not tied to the images or text you work with.

Outside services

The page loads a web font and the reading engine from public delivery networks so the tool can run. Those providers may see standard request details, like your browser type, the same way any website visit works. They do not receive your pictures or your extracted text.

Cookies

The tool itself does not need cookies to work. If any are set, they are limited to basic site function or the simple visit counting described above.

Children

This is a general-use utility and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly gather information from anyone, and since the tool does not collect your files at all, there is nothing of that kind to gather.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works in a way that affects this page, we will update the text here and change the date at the top. The core promise is not going to move: your pictures stay on your device.

Getting in touch

If you have a question about privacy or anything else, you are welcome to reach out. You can also read more about the project on the about page, or go back to the converter.
